Trainz is something of a dream-come-true for those of us who love trains, but can't afford the expense of building a real layout in our homes or lack the space to do so. Combining the best of both cyber and real worlds, Trainz afficianados from around the world have modeled homes, trees, buildings, rolling stock, routes and more. You can share their expertise and use their creations in your own layout by downloading the items from N3V, but I recommend that you purchase a high speed ticket to avoid lengthy waits. Our school will be using this program on a trial basis and students will be able to build their own layouts, solving problems that they incur along the way.
